Job Summary: The Personal Banker is the financial liaison to every member entering the branch and is focused on improving our member financial wellness. The Personal Banker works closely with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products to help our members make or save money and time through convenience services.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Works with members to craft a personalized financial strategy to assist them in reaching their financial goals.
Assist members with opening new accounts, explaining credit union products and services, and resolving member concerns.
Source new lending opportunities, ensuring a continuously full loan pipeline, meeting and exceeding personal lending goals as well as referral goals.
Participates in community events with the intent of growing membership and educating members on the credit union's products and services.
Frequently performs outbound phone calls to existing Members to create awareness of credit union products and services.
Operate a Teller window processing member transactions as needed.
Periodically assists the Call Center in answering member inquiries.
Adhere to regulatory and legal compliance within the branch.
Present a professional appearance as you are the face of the Credit Union.
