Personal Care Aide

Civility Home Care is currently hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Aide and Caregivers throughout Connecticut.

We have various schedules and assignments available, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, short-shift, extended-shift, and other ongoing care opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene as assigned

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with dressing and grooming

• Assist with mobility and daily activities

• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related needs

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Assist with grocery shopping and errands as assigned

• Accompany clients to appointments and activities when required

• Provide reminders and assistance with established daily routines

• Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition or needs

• Follow the client's service plan and agency instructions

• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality

• Complete required documentation and timesheets accurately

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and office staff

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

• Caregiving or personal-care experience preferred

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to follow care instructions and agency policies

• Ability to work independently in a client's home

• Reliable transportation preferred

• Valid driver's license preferred for assignments requiring transportation

• Ability to successfully complete required employment screening and background-check requirements

• Must meet all agency onboarding and employment requirements
