Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionManage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from pre-litigation through resolution.Handle client communication, case strategy, settlement negotiations, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.Work closely with paralegals, case managers, legal assistants, and medical records specialists to keep cases moving efficiently.Review demands, pleadings, discovery, settlement documents, and litigation strategy.Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.Appear in Virginia courts for hearings, motions, conferences, and other litigation events.Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, documentation, and file updates.Participate in case reviews, strategy discussions, and performance check-ins with firm leadership.Help clients navigate serious injury claims with professionalism, urgency, and care.QualificationsActive Virginia bar license required.Personal injury experience required.2+ years of litigation experience required.Plaintiff personal injury experience strongly preferred.Experience handling negotiations, depositions, discovery, hearings, mediations, or trials preferred.Maryland and DC bar admission preferred.Spanish fluency preferred but not required.Strong writing, communication, organization, and client service skills.Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment.Why You Will Love Working HereThis is a strong fit for an attorney who wants more than a quiet desk job.
