Litigation Paralegal – Personal InjuryLos Angeles, CASalary: Up to $100,000 (DOE)Hybrid after 90 days (2 in office/3 home) A well-established and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys managing cases from filing through trial in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:• Manage an active caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception through trial. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates and exceptional client service throughout the litigation process. • Draft, file, and serve pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, motions, and other litigation documents in accordance with court rules and deadlines. • Maintain electronic and physical case files while tracking deadlines, court dates, and litigation activities. • Draft and respond to written discovery and monitor compliance with discovery deadlines. • Obtain, organize, and review medical records, police reports, insurance documentation, and other case-related evidence. • Prepare medical record summaries, deposition summaries, and case chronologies. • Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, expert evaluations, independent medical examinations, and trial schedules. • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, medical providers, experts, and vendors. • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit binders, witness files, trial notebooks, and pretrial filings. • Conduct legal research and prepare correspondence and other litigation support documents. Qualifications:• Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience. • Strong knowledge of Florida (or applicable state) civil litigation procedures, court rules, and discovery practices. • Experience with electronic court filing systems and case management software. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation case management software.
