Location:

Paramus, NJ or Bloomfield, NJ – This is a full-time, 100% on-site position where you'll work closely with attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented office.

Note:

Applicants must have at least 2 years of personal injury law experience. Experience with New York and New Jersey no-fault claims is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement preparation.
• Monitor clients' medical treatment and case progress.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding their claims.
• Request, review, organize, and maintain medical records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to insurance carrier requests and correspondence.
• Prepare and assemble medical demand packages.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files.
• Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to keep cases moving efficiently.
• Assist with additional pre-litigation case management responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of personal injury pre-litigation procedures.
• Knowledge of New York and New Jersey no-fault claims preferred.
• Excellent organizational and file management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
