Personal Injury Paralegal (Complex Litigation)Work directly with the firm owner, focused in personal injury complex litigation. Great work life balance and excellent PTO offerings.About Our ClientThis midsized personal injury firm is based in Midtown NY and has 20 attorneys and 20 paralegals. Their model is true 1:1 support to attorneys with a typical case load of 180+ cases.Job DescriptionProvide comprehensive paralegal support to the firm owner in personal injury cases.Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.Experience attending trial with attorneys, and preparing for trial.Coordinate case management, including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines.Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties regarding case updates and necessary documentation.Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witness materials.Manage and organize discovery materials, including document production and review.Handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the legal department.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
