Personal Lines Account Manager

Lemon-Mohler Insurance Agency, the largest privately owned independent insurance agency on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, is hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team.

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll manage the relationship between our clients and their insurance carriers handling renewals, policy changes, new business, and account retention. You'll work closely with a supportive team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and you'll have real ownership over your book of business.

Job Description:

Lemon-Mohler Insurance Agency, the largest privately owned independent insurance agency on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, is hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team.

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll manage the relationship between our clients and their insurance carriers handling renewals, policy changes, new business, and account retention. You'll work closely with a supportive team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and you'll have real ownership over your book of business.

What You'll Do:

Manage renewals for designated accounts, starting the process 60 days out and delivering renewals/binders within 30 days of receipt

Handle policy changes, endorsements, and new policy requests from clients completing changes within 2 days of receipt

Review renewal accounts to identify additional coverage opportunities and cross-sell

Bind policies and endorsements; determine appropriate carrier placement

Process terminations, cancellations, and premium collection

Document all client and carrier communications in ImageRight

Support claims resolution alongside our claims team

Actively generate referrals and new business from your existing client base

3+ years of Personal Lines account management experience

Active Property & Casualty license required

CISR designation preferred (or willingness to pursue)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work in-office, 40 hours/week
