Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Pet Grooming School is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional pet grooming experience is required.
- Experience in executing common dog breed haircuts.
- Ability to complete 7 haircuts per day.
- Own grooming equipment (clippers, blades, shears, combs, etc.); major equipment like dryers is provided.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work energetically and maintain a positive attitude.
- Able to make independent decisions and solve complex problems.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance, and engage in physical exertion such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Exceptional client service experience.
- Must be comfortable using web-based programs and iOS applications, with the ability to learn new software.
Responsibilities:
- Bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
- Executing professional breed-standard trims.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the day.
- Identifying potential health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and communicating observations to pet owners.
- Ensuring safe best practices for both pets and groomers.
Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated, possess leadership skills, and have the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, cooperative work environment.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional grooming experience in a salon setting is required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
