Pharma Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Now hiring Pharmacy Machine Operator (2nd Shift) in Cranbury, NJ at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This is a full-time opportunity on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday), paying $20.00/hour, with 1–2 weeks of required training on 1st shift (daytime hours) before moving to the regular schedule.

About the Role
You’ll support solid-dosage manufacturing operations by running production equipment, completing accurate documentation, following SOPs/batch records, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Openings may align with Compression (Tablet Press), Granulation, or General Manufacturing operations depending on experience and site need.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Available Shift Times

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Training: 1–2 weeks on 1st shift (daytime hours) (required)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment (role-dependent: tablet press/compression, granulation, fluid-bed drying, dispensing/sifting/milling/blending, material handling)
• Perform set-ups, changeovers, and equipment cleaning/line clearance as required
• Complete in-process checks/testing and document results
• Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and checklists on time
• Follow all cGMP/GMP and site quality procedures
• Use required PPE and maintain safe work practices
• Troubleshoot process/equipment issues and support deviation documentation when needed
• Cross-train and support additional manufacturing operations as trained/qualified

Key Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 3–5+ years of related experience in cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing/production (required)
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a regulated environment
• Ability to work 2nd shift after completing the required 1st shift training
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform routine material handling in a manufacturing setting
