The Clinical Pharmacist, Informatics will be responsible for the system-wide design, build, training, implementation and support of all medication use technology-based processes, including, but not limited to: CPOE, e-MAR, unit-based cabinet dispensing, pharmacy-based packaging, dispensing and compounding robotics, smart pump applications and pharmacy system infrastructure supporting bar-coded bedside medication administration. Acts as consultant to Nursing and Clinical Informatics departments providing medication information for the development of integrated medication-related system functionalities.

This position is also responsible for coordinating pharmacy staff input into system design and coordinating necessary decisions related to system operations within the pharmacy department. This position is an independently functioning individual with knowledge in clinical process flow, computer support processes and training.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• PharmD degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in Pharmacy Informatics. Must have Cerner PharmNet Build expertise and in depth knowledge of Cerner Millenium Pharmacy software environments. Must have expert knowledge of the Order Catalog, IV Builder, Order sentences, CareSets and PowerPlans
