A healthcare center is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Clinical Pharmacist fluent in both Spanish and English to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Location:
Schedule:- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Rotating every third Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Contract duration: 13 weeks (with potential for permanent hire)
Responsibilities:- Dispense approximately 250 prescriptions daily with accuracy and compliance
- Conduct thorough clinical medication reviews focusing on appropriateness, interactions, and dosing
- Provide extensive patient counseling especially related to diabetes management including insulin use, injectables, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), and lifestyle guidance
- Assess and monitor chronic conditions, with an emphasis on diabetes care
- Collaborate closely with prescribers to optimize therapy and resolve medication-related issues
- Oversee pharmacy workflow ensuring all regulatory standards are met
- Foster a patient-centered environment aimed at long-term health and quality outcomes
Qualifications / Desired Experience:- B.S. or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Active and clear California Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 2 years clinical pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience in diabetic clinical assessments highly desired
- Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, clinical confidence, and patient-focused counseling skills
