Pharmacist Inpatient

Title: Travel Inpatient Pharmacist Nights

Location: Ardent Health Services Working at both Women's Hospital and Westside Hospital

Schedule:
Night Shift

• 4x10-Hour Shifts (20:30 07:00)
• 3x10-Hour Shifts (20:30 07:00)
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• No block scheduling

• Review, verify, and dispense medications safely and accurately for inpatient populations
• Prepare and oversee IV medications, IV piggybacks, TPNs, and compounded sterile products
• Monitor medication therapies including anticoagulation, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams regarding medication management and clinical recommendations
• Ensure compliance with hospital medication safety standards and sterile compounding protocols
• Utilize Pyxis and other medication dispensing systems effectively
• Support pharmacy operations across both assigned hospital facilities
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient/acute care pharmacist experience required
• Must be comfortable working night shifts independently
• Experience with IV preparation and sterile compounding strongly preferred
• Experience with dosing protocols including renal dosing, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetics preferred
• Must be willing to work at both Women's and Westside Hospital locations
• First-time travelers accepted

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Acute care/inpatient pharmacy setting required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

• Active NM Pharmacist License required (pending license accepted with ETA within 10 days)
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• IV Certification required
• RPh required
