JOB RELATIONSHIPS Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacist on duty, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor DEFINITION OF POSITION A Pharmacist Intern is responsible for assisting pharmacists in various aspects of medication acquisition, preparation, distribution, patient education, medication histories, drug information and billing. Duties are assigned to develop knowledge level while performing pharmacy duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. QUALIFICATIONS Professional Current Enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy. Six months experience as a pharmacy technician or successful completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program. Preferred: Current CPhT certificate from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, fax machine
