Pharmacist

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. We are a closed door, long term care pharmacy delivering medications to assisted living and personal care communities across the south-east. This position reports to the Pharmacist In Charge for this location.

Responsibilities:

• Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
• Provide caregivers with pertinent drug information
• Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
• Supervise and maintain records of all medications
• Final review all medications prior to delivery
• Operate pharmacy robotics
• Perform all tasks required by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy to maintain complete compliance

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmacy
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
• Framework LTC software experience preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
