Staff Pharmacist | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $68.96+/hr – based on shift
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
- Option 1 (Day Shift): Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM + occasional weekend shift (about 1x/month) 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ($68.96/hr)
- Option 2 (Mid Shift): Monday–Friday 11:00 AM–7:30 PM + possibly 1 weekend/month 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ($68.96/hr)
- Option 3 (Evening Shift): Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–9:30 PM + potential Saturday coverage ($70.73/hr)
Staff Pharmacist | Summary and Highlights:
The Staff Pharmacist will support safe, accurate dispensing of prescription medications while providing patient education and consultation. This role will also help maintain compliant pharmacy operations through proper documentation, inventory oversight, and collaboration with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff.

Job Responsibilities
Staff Pharmacist | Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with applicable laws and pharmacy standards
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files
- Identify potential medication-related issues (overuse patterns, compliance concerns, drug-related problems) and communicate effectively with providers as needed
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures (as applicable to site workflow).
- Supervise pharmacy support staff (e.g., technicians/clerks) and help ensure workflow accuracy and patient safety
- Support inventory management for pharmaceutical and medical supplies
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy interns, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners

Qualifications
Staff Pharmacist | Requirements:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license (RPh) (required)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and document accurately in a regulated healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills and patient/customer service mindset
