Position: Pharmacist
Location: New York, NY 10065
Duration: November 23, 2026 – January 31, 2027
Shift: 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM; Sat–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, as scheduled
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours/week
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay Rate: $70/hr.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
- Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Senior-level computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Review, screen, and accurately enter physician orders into the computer system.
- Monitor patient drug therapy and review patient charts, diagnoses, allergies, medication histories, laboratory results, and treatment protocols.
- Identify medication omissions, discrepancies, and therapeutic duplications; recommend appropriate changes to drug therapy.
- Compound and dispense medications accurately and maintain complete patient profiles, labels, doses, and administration instructions.
- Document clinical interventions and monitor patient responses and cumulative drug doses as appropriate.
- Apply knowledge of drug regimens, disease states, chemotherapy, antiemetics, and investigational drug protocols as applicable.
- Supervise pharmacy technician duties and provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Participate in research projects, professional education, and departmental initiatives as requested.
