What You’ll Do & Bring
As a Pharmacist, you will oversee pharmacy services, ensure regulatory compliance, and support clinical operations while delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by providers
- Monitor patient drug therapies and provide clinical guidance and interventions
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and adherence
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee pharmacy operations including order verification, controlled substance tracking, and inventory management
- Remove expired or damaged medications and maintain safe storage practices
- Supervise pharmacy staff and support daily pharmacy operations
- Conduct training for pharmacy personnel related to medication safety and protocols
- Support development and maintenance of pharmacy policies, procedures, and formularies
- Administer immunizations and vaccines as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned within scope
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy or Pharmacology
- Active and valid pharmacist license in the state of Texas
- Proven experience as a pharmacist
- Strong knowledge of medication therapy, pharmacology, and dosage requirements
- Experience with pharmacy systems and software applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Professionalism and ability to handle sensitive situations
