Pharmacist (PharmD / RPh)

A community pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join its team. The practice serves an established patient base and is supported by experienced pharmacy technicians, modern dispensing systems, and a collaborative leadership team.

This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacist who values medication safety, accuracy, patient relationships, and a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.

• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.

• Screen prescriptions for possible interactions, contraindications, and other medication-related concerns.

• Administer immunizations and support pharmacy-based clinical services.

• Supervise, guide, and mentor pharmacy technicians.

• Maintain accurate prescription records and dispensing documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations.

• Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.

• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification.

• Strong attention to detail and medication safety awareness.

• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.

• Retail pharmacy experience is welcome but not required.

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
