Contract Details (Contract roles only):

  • Start: As Soon As Possible
  • Pay Rate: $70/hr
  • Shift: Variable shifts (10-hour shifts: 0600–1630 or 1030–2100); 4 shifts/week, includes 2–3 weekends/month
Job Summary:
The Pharmacist provides inpatient clinical pharmacy services, ensuring safe and effective medication management within a hospital setting. This role requires experience with Cerner systems and the ability to support patient care through medication review, dispensing, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient pharmacy services and medication management
  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Utilize Cerner system for pharmacy operations
  • Support IV medication preparation where applicable
  • Participate in patient care and clinical decision-making
Required Experience:
  • 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
  • Experience with Cerner systems
  • Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations
  • Ability to work variable shifts and weekends
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • IV certification (e.g., Critical Point)
  • Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
  • At least one year of technical pharmacy experience
