Location: California 93401 | Pay: $2,716–$3,040/week
Shift: Variable 10-hour shifts (0600–1630 or 1030–2100)
Schedule: ~4 shifts/week | 2–3 weekends/month
Verify and dispense medication orders.
Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and effectiveness.
Provide drug information and identify medication safety risks.
Document interventions and supervise pharmacy support staff.
Graduate of a school of pharmacy – required
PharmD – preferred
2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience – required
Inpatient clinical experience – preferred
Active Pharmacist license in California – required
IV certification (e.g., Critical Point) – preferred
All required state licensures/certifications – required
Process, verify, and dispense medication orders per hospital and regulatory standards.
Ensure safe, effective, and appropriate medication therapy (dose, route, interactions, allergies).
Participate in clinical rounds and medication management activities.
Monitor medication use and support quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with formulary, regulatory, and safety standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team on medication-related decisions.
Support inventory management and cost-effective medication use.
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and order verification.
