    How you'll make an impact in this role

    • Perform essential technical services for the Pharmacist, including the accurate preparation of hazardous and non-hazardous medications for patient delivery.
    • Manage and optimize pharmacy logistics, including maintaining automated dispensing systems, preparing orders, and ensuring an efficient, accurate inventory of supplies.
    • Support the care team by providing key distributive pharmacy services and technical assistance for the Pharmacist.
    • Serve as a primary communication liaison by triaging incoming calls and relaying essential information between the pharmacy, patients, and other health professionals to facilitate coordinated care.
    • Facilitate the Meds2Beds Discharge Service and home delivery programs, maintaining a direct liaison between providers and patients to improve medication turnaround times.

    What minimum requirements you'll need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • One or more of the following required:
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate''s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
