Pay Range: $19 - $21.5/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to provider and pharmacy calls regarding the prior authorization and formulary process.
• Perform reviews of pharmacy and override processes in compliance with pharmaceutical-related company and state guidelines.
• Track and trend overrides to ensure criteria have been met, audit for prior authorizations, analyze costs, and determine utilization patterns.
• Resolve complaints and grievances related to the pharmacy network in conjunction with the Pharmacy team.
• Assist Provider Relations and various departments in educating providers on the health plan’s pharmacy process.
• Support the pharmacy utilization review and reporting process.
• Collaborate with the Quality Improvement department in meeting preparation and transcription of minutes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience (open to PBM, retail, or other various experience).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio.
• Strong ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication regarding project and assignment updates.
• Required: High school diploma.
• Nice to have: Pharmacy Technician License (preferred but not required).
