Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: ResponsibilitiesThe pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Can participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications. QualificationsJob Requirements: High School graduate or GED. 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs). Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by the State BOP). Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
