Location: New York City, NY
Pay: $46.88/hour
Assignment: 13-Week Local Contract –Extension Possible!
Schedule: 10: 00 AM–6: 00 PM (Hours May Vary)
Department: Ambulatory Infusion / Pharmacy Services

HOSPITAL OR RETAIL PHARMACY EXPERIENCE WELCOME!

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) for an exciting 13-week local contract assignment in NYC, with the possibility of extension!

This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians looking to expand their experience in a hospital and ambulatory infusion environment, gain exposure to sterile compounding operations, and advance their pharmacy careers!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• 
  Support pharmacy operations in a USP 797/800 sterile compounding environment.
  
• 
  Coordinate medication and supply deliveries to hospital floors.
  
• 
  Restock pharmacy supplies and maintain organized inventory.
  
• 
  Receive and triage deliveries from couriers, including FedEx and other vendors.
  
• 
  Monitor inventory and check medication and supply expiration dates.
  
• 
  Assist with inventory control and pharmacy compliance.
  
• 
  Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient daily pharmacy operations.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Active CPhT Certification through PTCB or NHA –REQUIRED
  
• 
  Active New York State Pharmacy Technician License & Registration –REQUIRED
  
• 
  Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
  
• 
  Hospital OR retail pharmacy experience accepted!
  
• 
  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• 
  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• 
  Experience in a USP 797/800 sterile compounding environment
  
• 
  Hospital pharmacy or ambulatory infusion experience
  
• 
  Familiarity with pharmacy inventory management and medication distribution
