• The Pharmacy Department at Penn Medicine Doylestown is a dynamic, patient-focused team that plays a critical role in the hospital's commitment to delivering exceptional care. Our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient receives safe, effective, and timely medication therapy. We manage both inpatient and outpatient needs, from preparing and dispensing medications to providing education and guidance on proper use.

Location:

• Doylestown Hospital- 595 W State St, Doylestown, PA 18901

Scheduling Requirements:

• Every other weekend Saturday and Sunday
• Day/Evening shift

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support safe medication preparation and dispensing by accurately measuring, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure timely delivery of medications for inpatient and outpatient needs.
• Maintain inventory and manage supplies by tracking stock levels, ordering, and organizing medications to meet patient care demands.
• Uphold quality and safety standards through meticulous recordkeeping, compliance with regulations, and participation in departmental improvement initiatives.

What We Require for this Role:

Education/Experience

• High school diploma/GED required
• At least 18 years of age.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician
