Overview
Supervise and coordinate workflow of the inpatient pharmacy technicians under the direction of the Manger, Central Operations. Work as a pharmacy technician when needed. Assist with the orientation and training of new employees.
Qualifications
Required Education: GED or High School Diploma Must also have one of the following: 1. At least 12 months of pharmacy technician experience. 2. Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program. 3. Successfully completed a minimum of 24 semester hours of college level courses. 4. Successfully completed an ASHP-accredited technician training program. 5. Successfully completed the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Necessary Skills: Good mathematical skills. Customer service and communication skills. Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy. Good organizational skills. Good leadership and teaching skills. Required Licensure/Certifications: - Registered Pharmacy Intern in Florida or - Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida. Required Experience: 1-2 years - See 'Required Education' section above. Preferred Experience: One year supervisory experience.
