Pharmacy Technician

Location: Baltimore, MD

Facility: Ascension St. Agnes Hospital

Department/Specialty: Inpatient

Schedule: Rotating | Full-time

Salary Range: $21.62 - $28.97 per hour

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical assistance to the pharmacist.
• Manage, refill, and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Orchestrate the procurement, organization, and storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds while adhering to strict USP standards and safety protocols.
• Repackage bulk medications and manage incoming supplies to ensure accurate labeling.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
