Pharmacy Technician | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Hanover, PA 18706 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $25.72/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Monday–Friday 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
- Every other weekend 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pharmacy Technician | Summary and Highlights:
The Pharmacy Technician supports daily pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist by filling prescriptions, assisting with IV preparation, and ensuring accurate medication packaging and delivery. This role also supports billing/data entry and helps maintain safe, compliant workflows through inventory control and equipment/environment upkeep.
- This position is a contract-to-hire assignment with potential to convert based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Job Responsibilities
Pharmacy Technician | Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions and assist with IV preparation under pharmacist supervision
- Enter prescription and billing data accurately to support timely processing and reimbursement
- Pre-package medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy standards and applicable regulations
- Assist with the final-check workflow (staging products for pharmacist verification and packaging after verification)
- Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery
- Support inventory best practices (receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers/expiration dates, assisting with physical inventory)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Pharmacy Technician | Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Licensure/Certification: Active State Pharmacy Technician license (required)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Comfort with computer systems and detailed data entry; strong attention to detail
