Pharmacy Technician (IV/Compounding) | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Horsham, PA 19044 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $25.01/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Every other weekend (with scheduled days off on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) | Holidays as scheduled
Pharmacy Technician (IV/Compounding) | Summary and Highlights:
The Pharmacy Technician will support prescription fulfillment and IV medication preparation under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. This role focuses on accurate data entry, medication packaging, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and compliant pharmacy workspace to support safe, timely medication delivery.
- This position is a contract-to-hire assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Job Responsibilities
Pharmacy Technician (IV/Compounding) | Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions and assist with preparation of IV medications under pharmacist supervision
- Enter prescription and billing information into the system to support processing and reimbursement
- Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with standards and government regulations
- Assist with final checking workflows (e.g., staging/“stating” medication for pharmacist review and packaging after review)
- Support accurate and timely delivery workflows by coordinating prepared prescriptions
- Maintain inventory practices (receive/rotate stock, record lot numbers and expiration dates, assist with physical inventory)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; help check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- License/Certification: Active state Pharmacy Technician license required
- Previous pharmacy tech experience required
- Pervious compounding experience required
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
