Job Title: Pharmacy Technician II
Location: Remote (TX, MO, CA)
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician II to support prescription processing and pharmacy operations in a high-volume, remote environment. This role focuses heavily on data entry, prescription validation, and coordination with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely medication fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and process prescription orders received from providers
- Perform high-volume data entry and manage refill requests
- Contact physicians for prescription clarifications and refill approvals
- Prepare, count, label, and package medications for pharmacist verification
- Maintain prescription logs and ensure documentation accuracy
- Support inventory management including stock checks and reporting
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards
- Assist with pharmacy logs (temperature, cleaning, calibration, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician or relevant healthcare experience
- Active Pharmacy Technician License (state-specific requirement)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pharmacy terminology
- Dosage calculations
- Excellent data entry and computer skills
- Strong communication skills (especially phone-based provider interaction)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
- Experience with prior authorization, insurance processing, or medical billing
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
