About the Role:Speedy Scripts Inc is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL! Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Process and verify prescription orders, including data entry into pharmacy management systems
- Communicate with patients, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions
- Handle prior authorizations and insurance billing/claims processing
- Maintain proper inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and managing drug supplies
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter and over the phone
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician registration or license preferred
- National certification (CPhT) through PTCB or ExCPT is a plus
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and prescription management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
