Pride Health is hiring a Floater Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Boca Raton, FL.

Schedule: Eastern Standard 6am - 4pm including weekends

Contract Length: 19 Week/s
Pay : $22.79/hr to $24.41/hr
Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.

Responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens safely and accurately while providing excellent patient service. This is a floater position requiring travel between multiple patient service centers and physician offices based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.

• Verify patient demographics and confirm specimen labels with patients after collection.

• Maintain accurate records, documentation, confidentiality, and patient safety.

• Provide professional customer service and maintain a positive patient experience.

• Travel between assigned sites, arrive on time, and cover locations as scheduled.

• Follow company policies, safety standards, dress code, and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Strong phlebotomy, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Keyboard and data-entry experience.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Reliable personal transportation and a clean driving record.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and multiple locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical assistant or paramedic training.

• Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

• At least 2 years of patient service center experience.

• Retail or service industry customer service experience.

• Leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements

• Must be punctual, dependable, and available for scheduled shifts in their entirety.

• Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination.

• Mileage reimbursement is available for travel between work locations only, not from home to work.

• Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.
