Phlebotomist II

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Rockville, MD. 
 
Job Details: 
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 
Location: Rockville, MD 20850
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Pay Range: $22 to $25/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Perform blood specimen collection from patients across the pediatric through geriatric age range.
• Perform venipuncture and ensure specimens are collected safely and accurately.
• Register patients and accurately enter patient information into the appropriate system.
• Maintain accurate patient manifests and patient/specimen logs.
• Ensure proper specimen identification, documentation, and handling.
• Provide professional, patient-centered service throughout the collection process.
• Communicate effectively with patients and address their needs during specimen collection.
• Work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Complete approximately 20–30 draws per day while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Requirements: 

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2-4 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
