A healthcare services organization is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for an ongoing assignment in Philadelphia, PA. This opportunity is ideal for a dependable professional with strong customer service skills and experience working independently in a workplace screening environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Schedule: Every Wednesday, with additional coverage as needed
• Hours: 8:45 AM to 1:15 PM, including setup, testing, and cleanup
• Pay Guarantee: Six hours of pay per assignment, provided arrival and assignment requirements are met
• Training: On-site training alongside the current phlebotomist, with timing to be confirmed

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection in a workplace screening setting
• Verify patient information and accurately label and prepare specimens for laboratory processing
• Provide a professional, courteous experience for individuals receiving services
• Prepare the testing area before appointments and complete cleanup following testing
• Coordinate specimen placement in the designated lockbox for laboratory pickup
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, infection control, and confidentiality procedures
• Work independently while communicating with the coordinating team as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Phlebotomy experience, including the ability to perform blood draws independently
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
