QualificationsJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent.Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience.Certification from a nationally recognized agency. Accepted agencies and certifications include, but are not limited to, the following:National Heathcareer Association - Certified Phlebotomy Technician: CPT (NHA).American Society for Clinical Pathology - Phlebotomy Technician: PBT (ASCP).American Medical Technologists - Registered Phlebotomy Technician: RPT (AMT).National Center for Competency Testing - National Certified Phlebotomy Technician: NCPT (NCCT).American Certification Agency - Certified Phlebotomy Technician: CPT (ACA).Hospital Lab information system skills and strong customer service skills.Experience working in the clinical setting.Preferred Job Requirements.5+ years' experience as a Phlebotomist.
