Physical Therapist – Acute Care Hospital
Location: Lubbock, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, and functional improvement
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Follow all hospital safety standards and therapy protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Physical Therapy experience required
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
