About the Role:
Stargait Management Group Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and motor skill development
  • Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and communicating changes to the supervising PT
  • Engage children in fun, age-appropriate therapeutic activities to promote participation and motivation
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active PTA licensure in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric physical therapy
  • Knowledge of pediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and orthopedic disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
