Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Denver, CO
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $90,000 – $104,000 per year
Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports the delivery of clinical care by providing treatment interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function through guided therapeutic exercise, functional training, and clinic-approved modalities. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day patient experience, progress tracking, and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional movement training
- Use manual techniques and modalities as directed (e.g., heat, ice, e-stim)
- Monitor patient response and report progress/concerns to the PT
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper form
- Document visits accurately and on time per clinic standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized treatment environment
Requirements
- PTA degree from an accredited program
- Colorado PTA license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification
- Basic comfort with EMR/documentation systems
- Strong patient communication and professionalism
