Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Pay Range: $45.00-$55.00/hr
Status: Full-Time
Coverage Area: Coachella Valley

What You'll Do

As a Home Health PTA, you will play a key role in helping patients regain independence and achieve meaningful goals. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician's plan of care
  • Treating patients to alleviate pain, restore function, and maximize mobility
  • Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer techniques, and muscle reeducation
  • Utilizing physical therapy modalities such as heat, cold, water therapy, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
  • Observing and reporting changes in patient conditions to the Physical Therapist and clinical team
  • Educating patients on the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and orthotics/prosthetics
  • Completing accurate, timely clinical documentation and notes

Requirements
  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle
  • Previous home health or hospice experience preferred (but not required)
