Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses.
  • Foster a positive patient experience through compassionate care, active engagement, and progressive treatment approaches.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Adhere to all professional, regulatory, and organizational standards of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Florida.
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS certification.
  • Prior inpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practice.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
