Post Rehabilitation Services is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Northern Manhattan Rehab and Nursing Center. Help residents put their rehabilitation plans into practice through hands-on treatment focused on mobility, strength, and the movements they need throughout the day in a skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do

• Carry out interventions established by the supervising Physical Therapist for each resident's recovery needs.

• Lead prescribed exercises and functional activities that improve strength, balance, and endurance.

• Help residents practice walking, repositioning in bed, and transferring between surfaces.

• Reinforce safe use of mobility equipment while observing individual precautions and assistance requirements.

• Communicate changes in symptoms, participation, and treatment response to the supervising PT.

• Document services accurately and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support consistent mobility care.

Qualifications

• Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant certification.
