Physical Therapist Assistant: Skilled Nursing (SNF)– Travel Contract
Location: Salinas, CA (Not the right fit? We have additional PT opportunities available throughout California.)
Pay: $ 1,800-1,900 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (extension possible)
Schedule: Day shifts | 36–40 hours per week

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Salinas, CA. Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy assistant services under supervision in SNF settings.

  • Develop and implement patient care plans to achieve functional goals.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments based on measured outcomes.

  • Identify and report safety concerns and potential risks promptly.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems.

  • Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and self-management.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and skill advancement.

  • Adhere to contract terms, on-site work requirements, and facility policies.

  • Demonstrate accountability for personal performance and meet quarterly targets.

  • Utilize data and pipelines to forecast patient flow and resource needs.

  • Demonstrate adaptability in a growth-oriented environment with merit-based rewards.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in good standing; SNF setting preferred.

  • Provide skilled PTA services under supervision in SNF facilities.

  • Develop and implement patient care plans with measurable functional goals.

  • Accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes in EMR systems.

  • Identify and report safety concerns and potential risks promptly.
