Pride Health is hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our client in Wilmington, OH

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Wilmington, Ohio
Float / Coverage Area: Highland, Clinton, Fayette, Madison, Greene, and Brown counties
Job Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $35 to $38
Mileage Reimbursement Rate: 0.48 cents/ mile

Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Provide physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance, and functional activities.

• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility, and safety precautions.

• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• License(s): Active PTA license as required by the state.

• Certification(s): BLS from AHA 

• Years of experience: Not specified; relevant home health experience preferred.

• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Home health therapy, therapeutic exercises, mobility training, patient education, clinical documentation, and care coordination.

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Assignment Highlights:

• 40 guaranteed hours per week.

• No on-call or weekend requirements.
