Physical Therapist at The Villages

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on individual patient needs and goals.

• Administer various physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques and exercise programs.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle modifications.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care across all settings.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions to home and community environment.

Experience

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Previous experience in a out-patient clinical setting is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of care plan development and implementation is essential.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
