Description:
• The role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Brooklyn, NY.
• This contract position requires onsite work and involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance individuals' mobility and quality of life.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Knowledge of physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Experience working in an IDD setting preferred
• Familiarity with OPWDD and Article 16 Clinic regulations preferred

Qualifications:
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Experience in an outpatient clinic, rehabilitation, pediatric, or developmental disabilities setting
• Ability to assist individuals with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and therapeutic activities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
• Ability to safely demonstrate therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques
