Pay Range: $99,195.45-$113,800.12 Per Year
Summary:
• This position involves providing physical therapy services in a homecare setting in the Bushwick, Brooklyn and Queens region.
• The role is full-time, requiring a licensed professional to work weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
• Ability to travel to participant's homes and various sites.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Chinese, Bengali, Spanish).
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and staff.
• Medically cleared for communicable diseases with up-to-date immunizations.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
• Completion of a Physical Therapy program from an APTA accredited university or equivalent.
• New York State licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist.
• One year of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred.
• Experience with geriatric or frail populations preferred.
• Participation in performance improvement monitoring.
• Ability to conduct clinical instruction for students and volunteers.
• Competency in developing participant care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
