Are you a licensed Physical Therapist looking for a unique opportunity to work a set schedule for inpatient and outpatient care? Alton Memorial Hospital has a full-time opening for you! Come work with a dynamic/multidisciplinary team and a caseload of ortho, neuro, and general medicine outpatient. Primarily outpatient setting with only intermittent inpatients; weekend rotation is included. 9-5 M-Th and 7-3 Friday currently. New grads welcome.

Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services, and more. Alton Memorial Hospitals Rehabilitation Services is called, "The Human Motion Institute." The Human Motion Institutes rehabilitation team includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapist Assistants.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies. Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed. Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient. Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies. Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.

Education Bachelors Degree - Physical Therapy (PT)
