CPR Certification, Hospital, Identify Issues, Patient Assessment, Physical Education, Physical Therapy, Prescription Drugs, Treatment Plan
Department: Physical Therapy - In-patient Rehab with flexibility to cover Acute Care if needed
$5000 Sign on bonus, based on eligibility
Schedule: Full Time, 5 days - 8 hour shifts, Rotating weekends & major holidays
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
- Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
- Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
- Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Physical Therapist bachelor degree with 5 years of experience OR Masters/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Current State of Michigan licensure. Will consider those who will be licensed within 30 days of applying.
- Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
