Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments.
- One-on-one patient care - 60 minute PT visits.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises, to improve patient function and reduce pain.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
- Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing.
- Excellent manual therapy skills and experience with therapeutic exercises.
- Strong communicator and team collaborator.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work two days in Gainesville, and two days in Ocala / Lake City
