The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 -$90,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The Company''s incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Job Description
Bayside Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation, voted "The Best" for 10 years running by local Shore Update publication readers, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Physical Therapist in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Glen Burnie. If you are interested in a mentorship program - work with our local leadership to customize one which meets your needs.
- Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Review the physician''s referral (prescription) and the patient''s condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
- Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
- Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
- Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers'' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum
- Master''s degree or equivalent is a plus
- Reliable transportation, this position will split coverage with a nearby local Bayside clinic
- Current state of Maryland license, CPR certification
- Exercise and manual-based skills with sports rehabilitation experience
- Outgoing and energetic personality
